When I got a prenup, it was an extremely lonely journey. I had no friends or family to talk about this big decision and when I brought it up with my partner, we naturally fought about the topic.
But through the experience, I learned something unexpected: the tough conversations with my partner helped us open up on how we think about money. We were able to discuss future life decisions and how money would impact these decisions in a radically transparent way.
